01
The problem
A store with thousands of products, yet Google mostly indexed junk: pagination, sorting and filter combinations. Key categories and brands cannibalised each other and the mobile version was slow. Traffic was flat and search orders were not growing.
-
02
What I did
- Schema.org Product, Offer and AggregateRating markup
- Faceted filter restructuring (sizes, colours, brands, seasons)
- 15,000+ junk pagination duplicates removed from Google’s index
- Queries in TOP-10 almost doubled: from 600 to 1,120
- Product cards optimised for commercial intent and conversion
- Correct canonical tags for filters and sorting parameters
- Core Web Vitals and LCP optimised for Google’s mobile-first index
- Internal linking from product cards to popular categories and tags
-
03
The result
- Orders from SEO grew from 120 to 205 per month (+71%)
- Average position in Google improved from 15 to 8
- SEO became the most profitable marketing channel
Key insight
Eugene Pakharenko
Growth came not from new content but from a clean index: once Google stopped wasting crawl budget on 15,000 duplicates, the strong category pages rose on their own.
